Petrolimex Saigon received ANQ Recognition for Excellence in Quality Practice 2015

On september 24th 2015, at the annual Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress 2015 in Taiwan (China), Petrolimex Saigon was honoured to receive the ANQ Recognition for Excellence in Quality Practice 2015 (ARE - QP Award).

At the congress, the ANQ Council gave 04 awards to individual winners – including Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Toan; gave 07 awards to the organization winners – Including Petrolimex Saigon: ARE – QP Award is annually given to organizations and companies which come from the member countries of ANQ. They have excellent results in quality management activities and in approaching the modern management philosophy.

Within 2 days, the congress has 184 presentations by the country members of ANQ: Including the presentation of Mr. Dao Van Hung - Petrolimex Saigon Quality Department Manager. His presentation is about the results of 15 years for applying the world advanced management standards and tools at Petrolimex Saigon and this was certified by ARE-QP Committee.

The ARE-QP Award made a remarkable and important point in the continuing quality development process of Petrolimex Saigon. With the foundation of total quality management was recognized by ANQ - Petrolimex Saigon has been motivated to apply the advanced management standards and tools continuously in order to increase the competitive capacity and to create the belief of customers with objective “Quality – Safety – Efficiency” to “Taking you further”.

07 criteria of ARE-QP Award:
(1) Enhancing top leadership and enabling organization management effectively and efficiently; (2) Enhancing and supporting improvement of quality, cost, delivery, safety, environment and so forth; (3) Supporting standardization and daily management for effective and efficient implementation; (4) Supporting new product, service and technology development effectively and efficiently; (5) Collecting, analyzing and implementing quality information for effective and efficient TQM; (6) Deploying small group activity and education and training system; (7) Others for TQM promotion.
3 requirements for ARE – QP Award: (a) Effectiveness: It is implemented in organization and improves performance; (b) Repeatability: It is formulated as a system and enables to improve performance in similar situation; (c) Innovativeness: It contributes TQM progress because of its innovativeness.
