Introduction

Nha Be Oil Terminal is a dependent accounting unit, directly under Petrolimex Saigon, was set up following to Decision 10/TC-QD of 22 August 1975 issued by General Department of Materials on the basis of taking over technical infrastructure of three oil companies including Shell, Esso and Caltex.

Nha Be Oil Terminal is the function of receiving, storage, processing and exporting of petroleum products required by Petrolimex Saigon with capacity of import – export over 8 million cbm/ton per year.

Nha Be Oil Terminal is scale and modern technical infrastructure with total capacity of over 600,000 cubic meters and are being stepped up the investment constantly to raise 1,5 million cubic meters in 2015; tanks are equipped with the floats and are installed Automatic Gauge system; there are 09 wharves to be able to dock 40,000DWT ships to load petrol; the petrol import – export’s technology is equipped by automatically controllability; the new generation electromagnetic flowmeters are equipped to get the high accurate level, they are inspected periodically; the fire fighting equipments is equipped automatically, together with network of collection, treatment and disposal of sewage to protect environment. Nha Be Oil Terminal is continuing the modernization and automation of petroleum technology at international level.

Besides the infrastructure, Nha Be Oil Terminal has developed and applied successfully the integration of Quality – Safety – Occupational Health and Environmental management system standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
