Digital Transformation at Petrolimex Saigon: Business-Centric and System-Wide Synchronization

On March 12, 2026, Petrolimex Saigon held its 2026 Digital Transformation Conference. Members of the Digital Transformation Committee presented the achievements accomplished so far and proposed solutions to further synchronize business operations across the entire system.

The conference was chaired by Mr. Võ Văn Tân, Chairman of the Company and Head of the Digital Transformation Steering Committee of Petrolimex Saigon. Company Director Phạm Anh Tuấn, together with Deputy Directors, directors of affiliated units, heads of departments/centers, and members of the Digital Transformation Committee (DTC), attended the conference and proposed numerous practical solutions to accelerate the digital transformation process and enhance its effectiveness across all business activities.

Reporting on the results for 2025, Deputy Director and Deputy Head of the DTC, Mr. Đào Văn Hùng, stated that Petrolimex Saigon has consistently been a pioneer in the digital transformation efforts of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), implementing critical systems such as ERP, eGAS, SMO, PM, BI, LIMS, E-Invoice, and more. Over the past year, digital transformation has progressed through the digitization of individual business processes and data exploitation for management purposes, contributing to transparency and reducing manual operations.

In the area of business operations, Petrolimex Saigon has digitized contract signing processes, ordering processes, automated loading procedures and contingency plans, as well as the nationwide sales program.

Digital transformation has also enhanced transparency and smooth operations in financial accounting, inventory management, engineering – construction investment, labor – salary administration, and general business administration.

Nha Be Oil Terminal currently operates 101 automated loading systems, with data continuously updated to central systems. Retail station management also utilizes numerous software applications, with eGAS serving as the core system containing over 100 business process codes, meeting all statistical requirements at retail stations.

Petrolimex Saigon continues to prioritize IT infrastructure for digital transformation, ensuring continuous training for IT personnel, upgrading network connections and equipment from Headquarters to Nha Be Terminal and all retail stations, ensuring operational continuity and data security, fully meeting the Company’s and Group’s digital transformation requirements.

During the merger process of Petrolimex Bình Dương and Petrolimex Vũng Tàu Branches, the need for synchronization across the entire Company has become more urgent than ever before, and this will be one of the core tasks of digital transformation in 2026.

After reviewing the presentations on digital transformation across various fields, Company Director and Standing Deputy Head of the Digital Transformation Committee, Mr. Phạm Anh Tuấn, stated that the 2026 digital transformation implementation will continue to follow the Group’s core digital architecture, with business orientation as the central pillar, data as the foundational layer, and digital technology and AI integrated to support tasks tailored to each functional division.

In his closing remarks, Company Chairman and Head of the Digital Transformation Committee, Mr. Võ Văn Tân, requested that functional departments work closely with the DTC to compile a list of outstanding issues and requirements, develop comprehensive solutions, and submit recommendations to the Group for prompt resolution. He emphasized the importance of synchronizing digital transformation efforts throughout the Company, Branches, and Nha Be Terminal. Additionally, he stressed the need for strengthening IT training for all employees to meet the requirements of the Company’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy.
