Marine Fuels
Petrolimex’s Registered Quality Standards TCCS 05:2019/PLX is a document that regulates the quality criteria of marine fuels used for marine engines, operating under different conditions, called RMG for short, including 02 types. These are Mazut 180 - 05S (RMG) [FO 180 - 0.5S] and Mazut 380 - 05S (RMG) [FO 380 - 0.5S] approved by the General Director of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Announcement of application under Decision No. 014 / PLX-QD-TGĐ of January 14, 2020.
This institution standard may be reviewed, amended and supplemented to ensure its practical use and in accordance with current law provisions.
Mazut 180 - 0.5S (RMG) [abbreviated FO 180 - 0.5S]: is the commodity name of marine fuel used for marine engines with the largest viscosity of 180 cSt and equivalent to the type of RMG 180 in ISO 8217 classification.
Mazut 380 - 0.5S (RMG) [abbreviated FO 380 - 0.5S]: is the commodity name of marine fuel used for marine engines with the largest viscosity of 380 cSt and equivalent to RMG 380 in ISO 8217 classification.
