Petrolimex honor attendant at "Vietnam Forbes top 50 best listed companies in 2017"

On September 14th .2017, at GEM Convention Center – address No. 08, Nguyen Binh Khiem street, District 1st, Ho Chi Minh City. Forbes Vietnam celebrated the "50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2017" - Petrolimex takes the lead of the top with the highest revenue.

Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex – stock code as PLX) officially listed on HOSE in April 21st .2017 with over 1.29 billion shares. On first day of trading, PLX was in the top 10 stocks with the largest capitalization in Vietnam stock market. Until today, after more than four months of listing, the total capitalization of PLX has reached more than 80,000 billion VND (equivalent to about 4 billion US dollars).

Besides financial indicators such as revenue, profitability, ROE, ROC, earnings per share (EPS) ratios ... are ranked by Forbes Vietnam based on the methodology and standards of Forbes global. Factors like sustainable development, brand, administrative level and Petrolimex development prospects is also considered and appreciated by Forbes. In particular, in 2016, Petrolimex achieved revenue of 123,096 billion VND, dividend payout ratio of 32%, so that PLX was honored as the "Champion of revenue" in this year's ranking.

Being one of the largest business scale and the most recognizing brand, Petrolimex has attracted the special attention of the guests at the ceremony, according to an investor analyst: “Petrolimex currently holds a major market share in the petroleum sector with a retail network of more than 2,400 Petroleum Stations and nearly 3,000 retailers, franchises across the country- This is a desirable distribution system for retailers and really impresses us".

Only after a short listing, Petrolimex has been voted in top 50 by Forbes - the independently organized and prestige on over the world. Petrolimex was recorded with the sustainable development and many achievements. Affirming the position and prospects of PLX, changing the perspective of society, consumers, investors within the country and international about a goverment enterprise has really privatized, going public and received an active acceptence by the market.

This event is a great pride and encouragement therefore all Petrolimex employees could maintain the sustainability and promote the achievements, values of the enterprise – “taking you further ".

On the same day, Forbes Vietnam organized the "2017 Business Forum" under the theme of "Embracing the changing world", bringing together top entrepreneurs, policymakers and thinkers then outline the challenges, discuss opportunities and exchange initiatives to help businesses take advantage of these changes from the most beneficial to adapt to the market.

The forum takes place in the context of the recent political turmoil in the world that is reshaping the way businesses have been done in countries, most recently the TPP and the US- trading relationship with other markets. , including Vietnam.
