On July 1, 2023, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex/stock code PLX) held the Go-live Ceremony for the solution of issuing electronic invoices (e-Invoices) immediately after each sales transaction at its nationwide network of retail petrol stations.

Representatives of the Ministry, departments, and Petrolimex's leadership carried out the activation ceremony for the solution of issuing electronic invoices immediately after each sales transaction at the nationwide retail system

The issuance of electronic invoices immediately after each sale affirms the professionalism of Petrolimex in the organization, management, and operation of the petroleum retail business at nearly 2,700 stores nationwide. It ensures transparency, accuracy, safety, and efficiency while pioneering the fulfillment of requirements for invoice management, issuance, and utilization as stipulated in Government Decree 123/2020/NĐ-CP dated October 19, 2020.

Electronic invoices are generated and issued right after each sales transaction to customers at petrol stations through an automated logging process connected to the store management software and Petrolimex's e-Invoice software. Electronic invoices are issued for each transaction involving the sale of petroleum products to individual non-business customers, and individual business customers, and are archived to serve customers' reconciliation requests as well as inspection and supervision by relevant authorities. Customers receive electronic invoices, cross-reference and manage their fuel purchase transactions through four methods: Email address, customer's invoice receiving account, direct inquiry on Petrolimex's website at https://hoadon.petrolimex.com.vn, and the electronic invoice system of the General Department of Taxation at https://hoadondientu.gdt.gov.vn.

Speaking at the Go-live Ceremony, Dao Nam Hai, a member of the Board of Directors and General Director, shared, "Petrolimex is the first enterprise in the petroleum business sector to successfully implement the solution of issuing electronic invoices immediately after each sales transaction at nearly 2,700 petrol stations nationwide. After nearly a year of preparation, Petrolimex, along with its partners, has collaborated professionally, responsibly, efficiently, and resolutely to perfect the system in order to meet the requirements for invoice management, issuance, and utilization as stipulated in Government Decree 123/2020/NĐ-CP. Moreover, we believe that the successful implementation will be a breakthrough in promoting transparency, equality, and contributing to constructing a healthy and sustainable petroleum market, providing consumers with high-quality service experiences."
