On the afternoon of October 15, 2024, the Sai Gon Petroleum Branch held a meeting to review its business activities for the first nine months and to set tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024 at the conference hall of the Petrolimex Saigon. The conference was chaired by Branch’s Party Secretary and Director, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai.
The conference was attended by Branch’s Party Committee members, Broad of director, The union president, The Youth Union's secretary, Department heads/deputy heads, Team leaders, and Managers of petroleum stations.
According to the report, the Sai Gon Petroleum Branch ensured safety in all aspects, organized effective sales operations, and met fuel demand for Ho Chi Minh City residents. Specifically, the retail sales volume reached 80% of the annual target and 108% compared to the same period last year; PJICO insurance revenue reached 79% of the plan, marking an 11% increase, while service revenue hit 77% of the plan or 96% of the same period last year. Sales of franchised channel and PLC lubricants did not meet targets and were equivalent to 2023 figures. A new petroleum station, number 84, was launched on May 1, 2024, bringing the total number to 80 stations.
The Sai Gon Petroleum Branch has pioneered initiatives e-invoice issuance with vehicle plate numbers, transitioning from paper to e-receipts, and supporting franchise customers with digital invoices. It has also implemented several key programs from Petrolimex group, such as installing a Petrolimex station location application on website and completing training for document verification. Collaborating with Pjico Ben Thanhh, The Branch provided insurance agent certification training per Circular 69/2022/TT-BTC, with a focus on communication skills and commercial etiquette for 975 employees. Additionally, various sports events and a contest on cashless payment and electronic invoice management were organized to celebrate Branch's 35th establishing anniversary (August 1, 1989 - August 1, 2024). The Sai Gon Petroleum Branch has ensured consistent employment and income growth for employees.
For the fourth quarter of 2024, Branch’s leadership outlined a series of solutions emphasizing absolute safety in all business operations, maximizing resources to meet the 2024 targets set by Petrolimex Saigon, and improving employee welfare and productivity. Sales policies will leverage all available tools to enhance customer service, with the franchise channel focusing on expanding its market share. Branch will work closely with specialized subsidiaries to boost product and service volumes across other Petrolimex offerings and will integrate technological advancements to strengthen management capacity, striving toward secure and efficient business growth.
Director Nguyen Thanh Hai acknowledged employees' efforts to meet the targets and urged continued focus on safety, station network expansion, and strict compliance with government regulations. Emphasis was placed on increasing retail market share through new petroleum station openings and promoting product and service volume growth to elevate the Petrolimex brand and achieve 2024 goals.
At the conference, Sai Gon Petroleum Branch announced new staffing decisions and recognized top-performing teams and individuals in the third quater of 2024 in petroleum, lubricant, and insurance sales.
