On July 14.2020 morning, at No.15 Le Duan building – district 1, Retail Petroleum Enterprise (XNBL) – The subsidiary directly under Petrolimex Sai Gon – held the preliminary conference about production and business activities in the first half of the year and deploying the missions, the concentrated activities in the second half of the year.

Attended and commanded at the conference, there were Petrolimex Sai Gon director Vo Van Tan, Deputy Director Dao Van Hung, Deputy Director Pham Anh Tuan, Chief accountant Nguyen Van Khoa and Head of some Petrolimex Sai Gon departments. In XNBL side, there were B.O.D, Trade Union Unit’s chairperson, Head/Deputy-Head of XNBL departments and all Petrolimex gas station managers belong under XNBL.
In the first half of the year,COVID-19 pandemic affected seriously to the enterpriseproduction and business activities. The petroleum sale quantity has not reach the Petrolimex Sai Gon’s plan giving to XNBL. The primary reason is transportation, travel field and the need of the citizen’s commuting have been decreased because of carrying out the social solidarity following by Government command.
Beside that, the world crude-oil price occurs complicatedly, recording the recorded lowest price, also affects to the world and national economy in many ways. Petroleum business also be affected, especially in maintaining the petroleum source.
By the pandemic situation occurs complicatedly and the business activities meet many difficulties. XNBL has organized the business activities safe in all aspects, seriously executing the command from Government agencies/Superior units in deploying timely, synchronizing, darting the responded solutions against the COVID-19 pandemic. In the meanwhile, XNBL also organizes the production and business flexibly, positive in management and fitting the reality conditions.
In the first half of the year, the enterprise recorded some highlight achievements such as develop 2 new gas stations; Gas stations and Franchise system running stable, to meet the social needs; the business activities safe in all aspects; the livelihood & income of laborer is guaranteed…

Stated and commanded at the conference, Petrolimex Sai Gon director Vo Van Tan judged the enterprise has went through a difficult business period in the first 06 months of the year and would encounter more challenges in next periods. However, with the effort from all staffs and the reasonable business operation when all activities, fields together face off the pandemic affections, partly help the enterprise gains some highlight achievements in activity.
In the second half of the year, Petrolimex Sai Gon directorrequired the enterprise concentrate deploying the followed missions:
1.Continuously updating the market movement to handle effectively the company resources and business policies in suitable condition, increasing sale quantity. Setting up the business well meet the market need, distributing enough employees, sorting out the reasonable shifts, especially in peak hour in order to serve customers. Performing well the petroleum source’s guarantee, do not let thecommodityshortage at sale spots.
2. The cost management have to perform base on the effect and save, prior serve the production and business targets. Enhancing liability/money-commodity management, especially when many firms outside society encounter the difficulties.
3. Renovating, upgrading infrastructure and utility condition in order to serve customer; rationalize trading ground, distributing the petrol type suitable to meet business require; enhancing equip trade sign at gas station to increase identify trademark.
4. To carry out well “5-steps trade procedure”, continue enhance service style better. To hold the training courses to improve professional ability, specialist knowledge for staffs, especially the section contacts directly to customer.
5. To ensure safety in all aspects of production and business; safety for staffs, employees, customers when purchasing at XNBL in COVID-19 pandemic time.
XNBL director Nguyen Thanh Hai reported a result of production and business activities in the first half of the year and deploying the missions, concentrated activities in the second half of the year.
At the conference, the attended members also had some speeches about main solutions in order to push the work and fulfill the mission in the second half of the year, striving for mastery the business plan.
