On July 4-5, in Ho Chi Minh City, Petrolimex Saigon authorized by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Group/Petrolimex) organized the 7th Training Program to support Franchisees (TNNQ).
Throughout the training course, SPEED Vietnam Consulting and Training JSC accompanied the program.
In his opening speech, Mr. Trinh Quoc Viet emphasized the role of TNNQ within the Group: “With the strategy to develop the retail system, petrol stations (CHXD) are always a top priority for Petrolimex for sustainable development. Currently, with nearly 2,700 stations, Petrolimex is the only enterprise with fuel business activities in all districts of the country. Additionally, around 1,800 retail TNNQs of Petrolimex, with a system of approximately 2,800 stations, are part of the Petrolimex supply chain delivering fuel to consumers. To support TNNQs in building a professional sales team, reducing risks in sales, and developing their stations, Petrolimex will continuously organize training programs to support TNNQ sales staff nationwide in 2024.”
The 7th course includes nearly 30 sales staff from TNNQs in provinces such as Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, and the Southwestern region.
They were trained in various knowledge and skills, such as building a professional, proactive, and confident salesperson image; understanding commercial etiquette and practice at stations to provide exceptional and differentiated customer service; changing perceptions, thoughts, and behaviors to enhance customer communication; and forming methods and approaches to handle potential sales situations at stations.
The class presented numerous real-life scenarios for group discussion and resolution, helping to build teamwork skills and emotional management when working in groups and communicating with customers.
Mr. Trinh Quoc Viet, representing the Group, urged sales staff to actively apply the acquired knowledge, skills, and experiences and share them with colleagues for mutual development after completing the course. The training program to support TNNQs organized by the Group aims to maintain and develop the franchise/retail fuel agent channel. In 2024, Petrolimex will organize 29 courses with 929 participants. In these training courses, sales staff will learn about Petrolimex and the overall TNNQ system as well as the values and benefits Petrolimex provides to TNNQs; commercial etiquette and positive thinking in sales; and communication and sales skills.
