On March 26th, at the headquarters of the Petrolimex Saigon, the company's leadership awarded commemorative medals and commendations to 3 members who achieved success in Round 2 of the Excellent Trade Union Officials Competition in the Southeast Region, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Petroleum Trade Union (May 11, 1994 - May 11, 2024).
Overcoming numerous contestants from the Southeast Region, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, a member of the Nha Be Oil Terminal Trade Union, won the First Prize; Mr. Pham Ngoc Triu, a member of the Trade Union at the Saigon Petroleum Branch Trade Union, won the Third Prize, and Mr. Le Cong Luu, from the HR - Inspection - Party Committee Office Trade Union, won the Encouragement Prize.
The Company's Vice Director – Trade Union Chairman, Pham Binh Phuong, awarded commemorative medals and commendations to the 3 members who achieved success in Round 2, as well as encouraged and motivated them to perform well in the final round.
The Excellent Trade Union Officials Competition aims to create a cheerful atmosphere to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union while enhancing awareness among trade union officials at all levels regarding the role, position, functions, and tasks of the Trade Union organization; providing training in professional skills and knowledge... and fostering exchanges among members to learn from each other's experiences, thereby strengthening and building a robust Trade Union organization.
The competition consists of 3 rounds, with Round 1 – the base round taking place from December 15th, 2023, to December 29th, 2023, attracting nearly 290 union officials from 02 member-based Trade Union organizations and 8 Trade Union departments directly under the Petrolimex Saigon. The Judging Panel selected 21 contestants with high scores, ranked from highest to lowest. For Round 2 - the Regional competition stage, contestants who achieved First, Second, and Third Prizes in the base round were selected to participate. The final round is scheduled to take place in early May 2025, with elaborate content and staging to allow contestants to showcase their talents, confidence, and knowledge to the fullest.
