To implement training plan in 2013, July 06 & 07 2013, Nha Be Oil Terminal collaborated with Division of Nha Be Fire Prevention Police to organize the professional training course on fire fighting and fire prevention for their all employees.
Attending and directly introducing, guiding for this course about fire prevention knowledge were members in the Steering Committee of Oil Terminal, Leaders of Nha be Fire Prevention Police Division and all employees of Nha Be Oil Terminal and Petrolimex units are business – production activities in the area of Oil Terminal.
The training contents focus on the issues as follow:
•Introduction to fire prevention - fire fighting Law and State's regulations; preliminary information on fire and explosion situations, causes and learned lessons.
•Some basic knowledge about fire and explosion, fire hazard properties of flammable liquids, heat source, capable of causing fire and explosion.
•Introduction to features and effects of fire trucks with technology 1-7 (Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee equipped for Nha Be Fire Prevention Police Division).
•The effects and ways to use the fire extinguishing powder; some measures about fire protection.
•Practice to operate fire extinguishing powders to fire fighting.
After finishing this training course, all employees are gotten lots of useful knowledge about fire fighting, their sense of responsibility are also enhanced. Thereby, they are proactive in the work of fire fighting as well as overcome timely when any fire situations can occur
In recent years, with the interest and support of Ho Chi Minh City Fire Prevention Police Department as well as Nha Be Fire Prevention Police Division, Nha Be Oil Terminal has proactively organized to perfom the fire fighting training and professional courses periodically in accordance with circular No.04/2004/TT-BCA on March 31st 2004 of Ministry of Public Security.
