On 12.11.2015, Petrolimex Saigon holds a conference to summarize quality management phase 2010-2015 and orients development strategy phase 2016 - 2020.

Participants in the conference are Leadership of Petrolimex Saigon and Subordinate Enterprises;Manager/ Deputy manager of departments and the whole professional expert team in charge of quality assignment throughout the company.

15 years ago, Petrolimex Saigon Leadership realized the need and importance of the application of advanced management standards, quality productivity improvement tools into production and business activities. Therefore, the Company leaders have been fiercely directing to implement improvement – innovation business Managerment. The conference contents were summarized from the basis enterprise as well as the whole company conferences in order to assess, together with the experts’s opinions stated that: This is the right policy, pioneer enterprise and have been implemented with a route, appropriate steps forward brought enormous practical results to Petrolimex Saigon.

In 2010 - 2015 phase, the Company had a lot of changes, directly impacted to quality assignment, such as: Deploying ERP - Egas under the scheme of the Group; The Government's policy about petroleum business, standards of accounting, wages, environment, metrology assessment; E5 bio-petroleum business; deploying the services businesses; Subsidiary PKC was born; etc... In that context, quality management activities of the Company continues to maintain perseverance, continuously making development improvement efforts to comply with the basic management requirements of ISO 9001: 2008, continuing to expand the application of standards and technical management expertise, and advanced management tools to gradually complete successful construction of " Petrolimex Saigon Quality House " : Quality Conference 2009 suggested.

At the conference, summarized and evaluated the results, identified barriers, limits of quality management in recent years ,so that pointing out the objectives, orientations, proposing solutions and improvements constantly, completing integration management system of advanced standards in phase 2016 - 2020: A major problem is raised up,"Howto improve the quality and efficiency of management system - heading to Total Quality Management (TQM)? On this occasion, Petrolimex Saigon was awarded by Certification Organization BVC the certificate ISO 9001: 2008, extending to the new range - petroleum blending in bio-petrol E5 business field. So far, the quality management system ISO 9001 has covered 100% of the entire production and business activities across the Company.

15-year route of applying standards, advance management tools on Petrolimex Saigon:

In 1997, deploying application Management System (MS) laboratory capacity according to standard ISO 17025, which was cetificated by VILAS in 2001

In 2002, applying quality management system according to ISO 9001 in the field of "wholesale, import and storage of petroleum", in 2003 expanding into the retail sector, in 2007 continuing to apply the remaining sectors and covered up 100% of company business activities.

In 2007, applying Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 standard and Safety Management System of OHSAS 18001 standard in Nha Be Oil Terminal, in 2012 expanding field of collection, transportation and disposal of infectious oil waste - Petrolimex Saigon Services Construction & Trade Enterprise .

In 2009, applying 5S practice models on Petroleum station system – Petroleum Retail Enterprise, after more than 05 years of expansion, so far has covered 100% throughout Company.

In 2010, deploying ERP application according to the project in 4 fields of the Group: business, accounting, finance and logistics.

In 2015, receiving the certificate of ISO 9001: 2008 range expanding into the field of petroleum dispensing.

Up to date, Petrolimex Saigon has integrated systems to manage quality - safety - health and environment ( QSHE) according to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 17025 standards. Inside the management system structure, 5S roles platform, tools for improving strong management system in the whole company. Accordingly, the management system is integrated, compact operation, supplement, complement each other very well to manage and administer all business activities throughout the Company.

Orienting Development Quality strategy phase 2016 - 2020

1) Improving the quality of human resources;

2) Creating work environment encouraging creativity, autonomy;

3) Associating the quality management with function construction strategy, objectives planning deployment and managing daily administration of working;

4) Constantly standardize and upgrade the internal documents ensuring "completing the simple" as the basis for smooth operation, high effective and full compliance with the request of laws and stakeholders (the Group, customers, ...);

5) Applicating of information technology, deep computerization executive management to accelerate reform papers administrative and internal information security;

6) Maintaining and continuously improving 5S tool standards to strengthen management by display, industrial behavior training, improving workplaces in order to increase productivity, reducing hidden costs, increasing efficient infrastructure operators;

7) Implementing fully commitment the "Quality of Service Standards" continuously improvementing to meet customer demands;

8) Continuing to expand the application of technical intensive management standards, advance management tools to improve administration ability, to meet regulatory requirements;

9) Improving the effectiveness of inspection and internal audits, corrective preventative nonconformities to maintain and improve the management system;

10) Continuing to promote the communication, promoting QSHE management activities internally and externally.
