On January 17th 2010, at the Hanoi Opera House, under the auspices of the Committee of Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly, VietNam Federation of UNESCO Associations held to select and award “ISO Gold Cup” for socio-economic organizations and enterprises that have made outstanding performance by effectively applying advanced management systems according to international standards in their business and contributing to protect environment, community and society.
Through two rounds of selection, with more than 400 enterprises and organizations all over the country attended the rewards, the juries had selected 57 typical companies to grant. In particular, Petrolimex Saigon was one of 57 companies were honored to be awarded the 5th ISO Gold Cup of this organization.

During over 35 years of development, besides stepping up investment and developing infrastrucre constantly following to “Scale – Modern – Safe and Friendly Environment”, Petrolimex Saigon has developed and applied successfully quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008; environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2004; occupational health and safety management in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 and General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This is one of the breakthrough success stages of Petrolimex Saigon in the application of advanced management standards to change management methods strongly from experience to science, to enhance the competence of executive management and the skills of staffs and workers of Petrolimex Saigon.
ISO Gold Cup Award is the huge significance for the entire Petrolimex Saigon staffs. This is also motivation to Petrolimex Saigon continue to complete, maintain and continually improve the management systems, aims to set up successfully “Petrolimex Saigon technological management system” with professional, taking customers’ satisfaction as the goal of development, ensuring absolutely safety, environmental protection together with the implementation of social responsibility is condition to Petrolimex Saigon develop sustainability.
