In particular, ensuring the petroleum quality to be distributed the market is one of the important criterions in our service quality value chain which has committed its customers.
Since 1997, Petrolimex Saigon has developed The Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Management System following ISO/IEC Guide 25 successfully to control the quality of petroleum products in all stages, such as: import, storage, maintain and delivery in the market. Our system has been assessed and issued Certificate of Accreditation with No “VILAS 048” by Bureau of Accreditation, directly under Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality.
After three times convert following version ISO/IEC 17025:1999, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and then ISO/IEC 17025:2017, The Laboratory of Petrolimex Saigon has been accredited nearly 57 standard test methods and is one of the laboratories where have many modern equipments, regional level in Asia – Pacific.
In 2002, Petrolimex Saigon continued to develop the application of Quality Management System following ISO 9001:2000 with advanced management methods, process approach (Management By Process – MBP) to control and improve the quality of work in all stages, at the same time combine with the application of information technology in management and administration in order to constantly improve management system, contribute to improve the quality of service, meet all the demands and potential customers.
07/2009, Petrolimex Saigon converted into ISO 9001:2008 Standard successfully and our management system was assessed and re-certificated under the new version by Bureau Veritas Certification.
In early 2008, again Petrolimex Saigon continued to confirm its commitment by developing the application of Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with OHSAS 18001 Standard and Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 Standard at Nha Be Oil Terminal to meet the requirements of the current law and other requirements on prevention, ensure safety – environmental protection and occupational health for employee.
In March 2018, Petrolimex Saigon upgraded and converted the Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Management System according to ISO 14001:2004 into ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 into ISO 45001:2018 to meet the requirements of the new standards; In June 2018, the Company organized the 4th assessment and recertification combined with conversion to the new version to maintain the validity of the certificate.
In July 2021, Petrolimex Saigon continued to be assessed and re-certified by BVC organization for the Safety, Ocupational Health Environmental management system for Nha Be Oil Terminal and converted the certification for Hazardous Waste Treatment Workshop in accordance with the standards ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018.
